Together with the Library Board of Trustees, library staff is pleased to welcome the community back into the Main Library of the Rockaway Township Public Library starting Monday, October 5th. In order to help prevent the spread of COVID-19 and to keep patrons and staff safe as we reopen, entry will be by reservation only. As we begin the next phase of our reopening the following new policies will be implemented:
Face coverings and social distancing are required for entry and while in the building.
Reservations for materials browsing or reference assistance will be for 15 minutes and are made on the hour, quarter past, and on the half hour. Appointments can be made Monday-Saturday starting at 10am.
A reduced number of computers will be available once per day per user for 45 minutes. Reservations start on the hour beginning at 10am.
Appointments and reservations must be made in advance. At this time we cannot accept walk up without an appointment or reservation.
All current services such as front door pick up, virtual reference, online programming, etc. will continue.
For reservations patrons can call the Library at (973)-627-2344 beginning Thursday, October 1st at 10am. We encourage following the library on social media for the most up-to-date information.
