The Rockaway Township Public Library is excited to announce that the Library will be reopening for frontdoor service beginning on Tuesday, June 16th!
Under Phase 2 of our reopening plan Rockaway Township library card holders can begin placing holds on materials owned by the Rockaway Township Library starting Monday, June 15th; there is no date for the return of statewide delivery service so we do not have access to other libraries’ materials.
The Library will be closed to patrons, please wait until you’re contacted that your materials are ready for pick up before you come to the library. While you can place multiple holds we will be limiting check outs to 5 adult and/or 10 children’s items at a time.
We will only be offering service to Rockaway Township Library Card Holders at this time.
We will only be accepting the return of library materials on Mondays and Thursdays only so that these materials can be quarantined. While we will try to be accommodating we reserve the right to not take materials back on other days.
Masks are required to receive service as we’ll pass materials out the door to you when you arrive for pick up.
Chat, email, and phone reference services will continue; no in-person reference will be available at this time.
We will not be providing fax, photocopying, or computer access at this time.
We will continue to bring you virtual storytimes as well as additional online programming.
Non-circulating items such as newspapers, magazines, etc will be unavailable at this time.
The Hibernia Branch will remain closed at this time but is ready to reopen as we progress through our reopening plan.
We look forward to seeing you on Tuesday and ask that everyone has patience as we begin the reopening process.
See you soon!
