Rockaway Township adult residents can register for FREE 
computer
classes
by
calling 973-627-2344, or
Email us at
rockawaytwplibrary@rtlibrary.org. Each class is one hour, except
where noted. Class size is limited to 7 students, except for lecture/demo or individual classes where indicated. If space is available, non-residents can attend a class for a $10 fee
(cash or check to Rockaway Twp Library).

keyboard
and computer functions. For practice, click tutorial links above.
Internet Basics(Beginners)Individual 1/2 hour sessions
Learn how to navigate the web,
search directories and print information from websites.
Email Tips (Keyboarding) Individual 1/2 hour sessions
Learn how to set up a free email account,
send and read messages. OR
Learn how to work with your email account and send attachments .
Intro to Word 2007 (Keyboarding) Learn how to edit,format,
save and print documents.
Intermediate Word 2007 (Intro Word) Learn to use WordArt, insert tables, symbols,
borders and
text effects.
Intro to Excel 2007 (Keyboarding) Learn spreadsheet functions.
Intermediate Excel 2007 (Intro Excel) Modify a spreadsheet, sort and create charts from tables.
Intro to eBooks and Readers (Keyboarding and Internet skills)
NOTE: Lecture and demonstration class in downstairs meeting room
Learn about the differences between eBook devices and how to download ePUB books
from the MAIN catalog or websites to a Sony eBook Reader.
Intro to Facebook (Keyboarding and an Email Account)

Learn how to set up a free Facebook account,
restrict access and find friends.
Digital Photo Editing (Keyboarding and Internet skills)
Learn how to upload, edit and save digital photos using free photo editing software:
Office Picture Manager and Picnik. Bring your camera and USB port plug.
